Walker recalled due to defect that can cause users to fall, suffer injury

OTTAWA – Thermor Ltd. Canada is recalling a walker, the BIOS Rollator 56001, due to a manufacturing defect that can cause consumers using the supportive device to fall.

The BIOS Rollator 56001 was sold at Walmart stores across Canada.

The company said Tuesday a fracturing of metal welds can occur near the front legs of the walker above the area of the support bar, and this could cause the user to fall.
