City outdoor and indoor pools: What’s open, what’s closed?

REGINA – More than 52,000 people visited one of Regina’s outdoor pools this summer, and now four of the facilities are set to close for the season on Monday.

Regent Pool, Dewdney Pool, Massey Pool and Maple Leaf Pool will all shut down for the season at 5:00 p.m.

Wascana Pool will remain open until September 13th and the spray pads will remain open until September 18th.

Meantime, the Lawson Aquatic Centre and weight room is re-opened to the public Monday, after being closed since late July for routine maintenance.

Up next is  The Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre which is closed Monday until September 21st for routine maintenance, including painting, cleaning and mechanical repairs to the facility.

A new UV water treatment system will also be installed.
