SASKATOON – It was a bit of a scare for the driver of a Saskatoon street sweeper. The vehicle tipped over Wednesday evening with the driver still inside.

It happened just after 9 p.m. at the intersection of Wedge and George Roads in the Dundonald neighbourhood.

The driver had to remain inside the street sweeper while firefighters stabilized the vehicle, which they did using specialized equipment.

The driver, who was not injured, was then able to exit.
