WEST LINCOLN, Ont. – A 40-year-old man from West Lincoln in Niagara Region is dead following a crash on Wednesday afternoon.
Niagara Region police say at about 4:30 p.m., the man was driving a pickup truck on Regional Road 20 when he crossed the centre line and collided head-on with a tractor trailer.

Firefighters were able to extricate the driver from the pickup, but he died before he could be taken to hospital.
The driver of the tractor trailer, a 52-year-old man from Port Colborne, Ont., suffered minor injuries.
There were no other occupants in either vehicle.
No names have been released and the crash remains under investigation.
