Saskatoon’s second homicide of 2012

Saskatoon police have arrested a 19-year-old man after a 22-year-old man was found dead on Saturday night.

Police received at call from a home in the 400-block of Avenue J North regarding a person being stabbed at approximately 10:40 p.m.

Twenty-two-year-old Jaguar Sparvier was found dead in the house. An autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday.

Police say a 19-year-old Saskatoon man will be charged with second-degree murder and is expected to appear in court on Monday.

The victim and the suspect were related.

The incident occurred in the Westmount neighbourhood.
