TORONTO – A gas war brewing between multiple pump stations in St. Catharines, Ont. has now hit a new low — 79.7 cents a litre.
The price for a litre of regular unleaded gas has dipped significantly lower in the Southern Ontario community for more than a week.
In comparison, gas in Toronto is hovering around 104.9 cents a litre on Wednesday.

There are reports residents have been lining up for an hour on Ontario Street with some vehicles seen bumper to bumper eager to fill up.
According to Gasbuddy.com, the national average for gas as of Wednesday is 111.6 while Ontario is at 105.8.
