Cute 4-year-old invades rugby pitch, takes ball, runs through team of pros to score

You too can score a try against some of rugby’s greatest players. All you have to do is believe in yourself…or apparently invade the pitch as a four-year-old and hog the ball for the all glory.

That’s the story out of Toowoomba, Australia, after a New South Wales and Queensland Legends charity exhibition – or ‘friendly’ – at the beginning of August went viral after it was interrupted by an apparently lost four-year-old boy standing in the in-goal area (end zone for you NFL or CFL fans).

The players noticed him after a kick-off. Within seconds they had handed him the ball and he tore down the pitch as if he was possessed by the great Jonah Lomu as his ‘competition’ dove and ‘missed’ their tackles.

Footage of the adorable run has been watched on YouTube more than 700,000 times at this writing.

The best part? He kept two hands on the ball the entire time. Good on the lad.
