Professional soccer players take on the #DizzyGoals challenge

MONTREAL – Why would professional soccer players film themselves taking awful penalty shots and posting it for millions of people to see?

It’s all for a cause, of course!

#DizzyGoals aims to raise awareness for The Global Goals For Sustainable Development.

On September 25, 2015, 193 world leaders will commit to 17 Global Goals to achieve three things in the next 15 years – end extreme poverty, fight inequality and injustice and fix climate change.

Professional players like Real Madrid‘s Gareth Bale and Liverpool‘s Joe Gomez already uploaded videos of themselves taking part in the challenge to social media.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

The organization isn’t asking for donations – it simply wants to raise awareness.

Montreal Impact and Didier Drogba, are you next?
