MONTREAL – Carrots, eggplants, herbs, cucumbers and tomatoes – all and any produce you can imagine.
For the second year in a row, Destination Centre-Ville is organizing a pop-up farmer’s market.
It can be found in three of the alleyways just south of Sainte-Catherine Street, including Metcalfe, Mansfield, Aylmer, City Councillors and one on the corner of Peel Street.

The non-profit event allows Montrealers to get fresh produce from local farmers in the hidden corners of the city’s downtown core.
The point of the Alleyway Project is to give city dwellers a break from the excitement of downtown Montreal.
It also allows people to sit and admire the transformation of an alleyway.
The aim of the project is to help people see that even the freshest produce can thrive in the dark.
The Alleyway project runs every Wednesday and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. until Sept. 10.
