Okanagan forecast: highs in the 30s today

Weather update: Wednesday August 19th 5am

The warm conditions will peak today under an upper ridge.  However it will be breezy at times this afternoon when a weakening cold front crosses the BC Interior.

Temps tomorrow will also stay above seasonal, but another cold front will start to advance southward and move across our region early Friday morning.

There will be a risk of showers associated with Friday’s front, but we are uncertain at this time about how much precip as there is the potential for the front to weaken enough that we will only see increasing clouds and little or no precipitation is possible.

Today’s daytime high range: 29 to 35C

More details coming up at 5, 6:30 and 11pm!
