History: Brison has represented this riding since 1997 (with the exception of briefly resigning so PC leader Joe Clark could run in a by-election). First elected as a PC, Brison crossed the floor to the Liberal party in 2003. He is considered popular in this riding, but his victory in 2011 was a close one.
