Man arrested after allegedly making a death threat to TTC bus driver

TORONTO – Toronto police have arrested a man who allegedly threatened to kill a city bus driver.

Police say it’s alleged that a 23-year-old man boarded a Toronto Transit Commission bus in the city’s west end around 7:15 p.m. Monday night without paying a fare.

They say the driver told him how much he had to pay and another customer allegedly overheard the conversation and paid the fare for the man.
