Cheryl Bau-Tremblay laid to rest in Saint-Félicien

MONTREAL – Cheryl Bau-Tremblay was laid to rest Friday in Saint-Félicien, a city the Lac Saint-Jean area where she lived prior to moving to Beloeil.

The 28-year-old was reported missing on Saturday, Aug. 1.

She was five-months pregnant.

According to first accounts, she had left her house for a walk without her keys or credit cards.

Police found her body inside the home she shared with boyfriend Alexandre Gendron.

Gendron has a history of domestic violence and lied to police when questioned about her disappearance.

He is currently facing first-degree murder charges.
