REGINA – The second phase of the Regina Revitalization Initiative is moving ahead. The city has chosen contractors for the urban planning and engineering consulting portions of the Railyard Renewal Project.

Urban Strategies Inc. (Toronto, Ont.) in collaboration with Urbanics Consultants Ltd. (Vancouver, BC) and P3A Architecture (Regina, Sask.) will provide urban planning and design consulting services for the project.

WSP Group (Montreal, Que.) in collaboration with Ground Engineering Consultants Ltd. (Regina, Sask.) was selected to provide the project with engineering consulting services.

In total the city had 14 proposals submitted for the urban planning and design competition and seven proposals were submitted for the engineering consulting.

The planning process will also include input from stakeholders and the public. The city anticipates that a final report will be completed in 12 months.
