Summary: This riding has been represented by Conservative MP Costas Menegakis since 2011, but boundary redistribution sees him running for re-election in the new riding of Aurora-Oak Ridges-Richmond Hill. That leaves no incumbent offering here, so voters will send a new face to Ottawa on October 19.
Boundaries: This riding is slightly smaller geographically for this election, with some areas in the north moving into the new riding of Aurora-Oak Ridges-Richmond Hill.

Last Election: In 2011, Conservative Menegakis won with 44.1 per cent of the vote, followed by Liberal incumbent Bryon Wilfert with 35.3 per cent. If these new boundaries were in effect in 2011, the results would not have been much different. The Conservatives would have earned 43.5 per cent of the vote, followed by the Liberals with 35.6 per cent.
