Summary: NDP incumbent Rosane Doré Lefebvre is looking for a second term in this Montreal-area riding, after defeating the Bloc Québécois here in 2011.

Boundaries: Covering about half of Laval, this riding includes the neighbourhoods of Duvernay, Saint-Francois, Saint-Vincent-de-Paul and the eastern part of Vimont.

Last Election: NDP Doré Lefebvre defeated BQ Robert Carrier by 10,594 votes.

History: This riding was mostly Bloc Québécois territory prior to the NDP win in 2011. The BQ won here in 1993 and 1997. The Liberals won a single term in 2000, and then the seat returned to the BQ in 2004, 2006 and 2008.
