MONTREAL – One man is in hospital after reportedly failing to stop at a stop sign in Dorval.
The accident happened at 3 a.m.
The 41-year-old man was heading south on Renaud Street when he hit a security barrier on the Côte-de-Liesse service road.
“The driver is now in a stable, but critical condition,” said André Leclerc with Montreal police.
“His life is not threatened anymore, but he is still under observation at the hospital.”
Investigators said alcohol, fatigue and speed may have played a role in the accident.
