REGINA – It’s only a few short days before Folk music takes over the Queen City.
Set-up for the event is under-way and is ahead of schedule for this year’s event.
Organizers are asking people to dress for the weather and too bring waterbottles and chairs for the events. They’re hopeful mother nature will be co-operative after cancelling a performance last year due to extreme weather.

This year’s event will see over 30 acts from around the world take the stage and those involved expect this year to be the best one yet.
“We’re really excited about the quality of the artists that we have on the main stage, we have more headliners than we’ve ever had before,” said Sandra Butel, Regina Folk Festival CEO.
“We have a larger stage and larger lights and it’s going to be a bigger show than ever before.”
Tickets for the event are still available online. It kicks off on August 7.
