History: Remarkably, Yorkton-Melville has had only two MPs for its entire 47 year history: Breitkreuz since 1993, and NDP stalwart Lorne Nystrom from 1968 to 1993.
Demographics: This riding has the highest percentage of people with Ukranian roots in all of Canada, at 27.3 per cent of the population, according to the 2011 National Household Survey. The median age of 46.6 is the highest in Saskatchewan.
