BROSSARD – Police are investigating after a cyclist was hit by a train on Montreal’s South Shore.
Officers witnessed the accident, which took place Monday evening at the corner of Lapinière and Leduc boulevards, near the Dix30 in Brossard.
The cyclist was apparently crossing the intersection where the bike path and the railway tracks meet.

He was rushed to hospital and his is expected to make a full recovery.
