The Mercedes then crossed 152 St. into the northbound lanes, where it struck a vehicle that was driving north.
Emergency crews extricated one person who was trapped in a vehicle. Several people were transported to hospital by ambulance and at least one suffering from serious injuries, now not believed to be life threatening.
Speed has not been ruled out as a contributing factor in this collision.
