MONTREAL – City Hall shone bright light a diamond Monday night as part of a new LED light project.
It will change colours during the night depending on the day’s events .

It’s part of Plan Lumière, a new digital lighting program for historic buildings in the Old Port.
Other parts of the city that have also been give this colourful make-over include Place Jacques Cartier, Saint-Paul Street, de la Commune Street, Bonsecours Market and several buildings on McGill Street.
Plan Lumière is about 80 per cent complete; the goal is to beautify the city’s history at night.
