WINNIPEG – Winnipeggers who are staying inside city limits for the August long weekend should have no problem finding a world of food and beverage choices.

Ukrainian, Chilean, Hungarian, Israeli, and Italian are just a few of the cultural options that will put food, drink and dance on display from August 2-15th.

This is the festival’s 46th year. It will kick off this Saturday, July 25, with a free concert at The Forks from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Folklorama began as a one-time event but has since grown into what even organizers call the longest and largest multicultural festival in the world.
