TORONTO – The actor who played Derek Wheeler – better known as “Wheels” – on famed television show “Degrassi High,” is dead.
The actor reportedly died of natural causes at his home in Hamilton, Ontario in 2007, but the news was only made public on Thursday (Feb. 16th).
Born in 1972, Hope starred in many reincarnations of the Degrassi series, including Degrassi Junior High, Degrassi High and Degrassi: The Next Generation.
