RCMP are looking for a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Oliver earlier this week.
On July 16, officers spoke to a business owner who said a man entered a store in the 6400-block of Park Drive and took out a weapon.
The suspect reportedly left the scene in an older model GMC pick-up. The truck is described as two-tonne, white or light grey and dark grey with a red stripe along the bottom. It may have had a dark grey or black canopy.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male in his late 50s or early 60s, 5’10”, 150 lbs., with facial hair, long grey hair and a cleft lip or scar above his lip. It’s believed he was wearing jeans, a black shirt, black leather coat, and a dark-coloured cap.
RCMP say the description of the suspect is similar to that of a man who currently has outstanding warrants out of Penticton.
Police say the suspect is considered extremely volatile. They say if you see the man or the vehicle, you should call 9-1-1 immediately.
