RCMP were called to a home in the 2000 block of Lindsay Road in Penticton, just off of Naramata Road, at around 10:30 p.m. on Monday.  One man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.   A second person was also injured in the shooting incident.  That person suffered minor injuries and was treated and released from hospital.

It’s not known where the suspect was arrested but he was apprehended shortly after the shooting.  He remains in custody until a court appearance on Friday.

Police continue to investigate but say this is an isolated incident resulting from an escalating sequence of events between two parties and that the public is not at risk.
