BARRIE, Ont. – A woman faces drinking and driving charges after Barrie police say an SUV was driven onto railway tracks.
Police say they were contacted by a tow truck operator who reported the SUV appeared to have been abandoned on the tracks.

Police found the owner of the SUV and took her to the station for breathalyzer tests.
The 32-year-old woman has been charged with impaired driving.
Police say there were no train delays because the incident happened before the first train was scheduled at 5 a.m.
