Two dead in separate weekend Saskatchewan crashes

Two people are dead and another person was injured in two separate crashes in Saskatchewan on the weekend. File / Global News

Two people have been killed and a third was injured in separate crashes in Saskatchewan over the weekend.

The first fatal crash happened just before 9:15 a.m. Saturday at Highways 11 and 2 south of Prince Albert.

Police have released few details but say one man, the driver, was deceased. His name has not been released.

A 24-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The second fatality happened early Saturday afternoon when a northbound motorcycle and a southbound SUV collided on Highway 4 just north of Glaslyn.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 29-year-old man, was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
