Girl, 16, struck by vehicle while riding bike in Stony Plain

EDMONTON — RCMP are investigating after a 16-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle while riding her bike in Stony Plain on Saturday.

Officers were called when the teen walked into the R&B Country Restaurant around 4:50 p.m. covered in blood.

Police say she was riding her bike at the intersection of Boulder Blvd. and North Park Way when she was clipped by a vehicle that didn’t stop.

The teen was taken to the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton with non life-threatening injuries.
