They say they are planning a celebration of life for Shannon later this summer.

We are thankful for all of the love and support we are receiving from the community, though are obviously devastated by this tragedy.

Shannon was a sweet, quirky, loving, passionate, generous soul.  She was so funny and creative. Not only did she enjoy life to the fullest, but she was able to show you how to come along on that journey. She did as much volunteer work as she could fit in and donated to the blood bank, SPCA, and children in need. She was fearless and savoured life which makes her absence more tragic.

We are relieved that Shannon has been found and are choosing to not speculate as are waiting for more answers.

We are currently planning a celebration of life that will take place later in the summer. We would love to have those that cared about her attend if they can and will make sure to make those details available once they are finalized.

At this point we have no additional information than what has already been made public. Please respect that we would like some time to heal as a family and have no further comment at this time.
