CALGARY – Police are looking to the public for help finding a woman who has been missing for over a week.

Shannon Madill (Burgess) was last seen by family at her home in the 1900 block of Spiller Road S.E. around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 27th.

Family and friends became worried for Madill when she failed to show up for plans she had made on Sunday. She was reported missing the next day.

“We’re all very optimistic that my sister will be returned to us safe,” said Erin Madill. “It is unbelievably unlikely for her to disappear and not actually contact anybody.”

The family has frequented areas in Inglewood that Shannon often visited in hopes of finding any information about her disappearance.

Police say there is no indication that foul play is involved, but investigators did find her cellphone and vehicle at her home.
