Woman, 64, killed in hit-and-run in Montreal North

MONTREAL – A 64-year-old woman is dead after she was hit by a car on Saturday night in Montreal North.

The accident happened at around 9:35 p.m. on Henri-Bourassa Boulevard.

The victim was attempting to cross the  Henri-Bourassa Blvd. at Balzac Avenue when she was hit by a car heading east on Henri-Bourassa.

The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene

The car fled the area and police are asking anyone with information to call Info-Crime at 514-393-1133.

Investigators are trying to piece together the events of last night.

Speeding is believed to have played a role in the tragic accident.
