UPDATE: Terrebonne shooting victims die of injuries

WATCH ABOVE: The SQ has confirmed that two victims shot on Thursday at the Côté-Gosselin law firm in Terrebonne have died of their injuries. 

MONTREAL – The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) has confirmed that two people shot in a law firm in Terrebonne on Thursday have died of their injuries.

The victims are Benoît Côté, 51, and Marie-Josée Sills, 30.

The two were shot at around 5:30 p.m. on Thrusday at the Côté-Gosselin law offices, in Terrebonne.

Police later linked the Terrebonne shooting to an alleged murder-suicide in Boucherville on Friday.

The SQ were called to the scene of a fire early Friday morning in Boucherville, where the bodies of Michel Dubuc and his two adult sons were discovered.

It is believed that Michel Dubuc shot the two victims in Terrebonne, then drove home and shot his two sons, then himself.

Dubuc had allegedly filed a lawsuit against Benoît Côté over a business deal gone sour.
