Civil suit against David Pickton continues

David Pickton is being sued for allegedly threatening to rape and kill a woman more than two decades ago. He was convicted of sexual assault in 1992, sentenced to a year probation, and fined $1,000.

During Monday’s proceedings, Pickton took the stand and became visibly upset when his brother was mentioned.

Closing arguments and deliberations are expected today.

When Global News caught up with him outside the courthouse, David would not speak about the case, but said we could ask him about anything else.
