OSOYOOS — Crews are searching for a man who went into the water in Osoyoos Lake but didn’t surface on Sunday evening.
Sergeant Randy Bosch with Osoyoos RCMP says around 6 p.m., the missing man was on a Seadoo with a female.
Bosch says the Seadoo flipped over and both of the occupants fell into the water.
The female flagged down a sailboat for help, but the man was nowhere to be found.
Bosch says Penticton Search and Rescue, the RCMP dive team as well as the Osoyoos RCMP are working together to try and find the missing man.
Bosch asks any witnesses to contact RCMP.
