In British Columbia, temperatures will be in the high 20s to mid 30s with the highest temperatures expected Saturday and Sunday afternoons. It’s likely that temperature records in the region will be broken.
Heading further east, temperatures across Saskatchewan will also be higher than normal. Already southern parts of the province are experiencing temperatures in the 30s which are expected to last into Monday.
And the heat is grasping Manitoba, as well. Temperatures throughout the province have been anywhere from about five degrees to almost 10 above normal, in the high 20s to low 30s.
Though the weather will definitely be hot and uncomfortable, those in the affected regions can count themselves lucky that they’re not in Las Vegas where temperatures are expected to be in the mid 40s for the next two weeks.
