The Enchanted Forest and SkyTrek Adventure Park sold for $2.5 million

A long-running tourist attraction on the Trans-Canada Highway is now under new ownership. With its castle and whimsical buildings, The Enchanted Forest is designed to charm visitors. Now it seems the roadside attraction has taken a family from Alberta under its spell.

They purchased the business along with the nearby SkyTrek Adventure Park, from longtime owners Rocky and Juliet Ehlers, for $2.5 million.

“They love the place. They usually get a season pass for it every year,” says real estate agent Steve Daschuck.

The previous owners of The Enchanted Forest were hoping to sell the business, along with the next door SkyTrek Adventure Park, for $2.7 million.

Daschuck says they had inquiries from as far away as Nova Scotia, California and China.

The new owners took possession at the end of April. The Enchanted Forest opened for the season at the start of May.
