WATCH: Shark takes a bite out of man’s camera

TORONTO – If you were to look up the dictionary definition of “too close for comfort,” you’d likely find a picture of this: the inside of a shark’s gaping mouth.

A scuba diver captured incredible footage after a group of tiger sharks swam up to him as he was diving near Jupiter, Florida.

One of the sharks apparently thought the man’s camera looked delicious, and tried to take a bite.

Luckily, it turned out the underwater camera wasn’t to the shark’s liking, and it promptly spit it back out – but not before giving a great view of the inside of its mouth.

NBC News-6 in South Florida reports the diver’s name is Mike Zimmer, who says he was diving in federal waters when the group of sharks took a curiosity in him.

By all accounts, both man and camera made it through their close brush with nature unharmed, but with a great story to tell.
