TORONTO – A 30-year-old man faces impaired driving charges in a crash that sent six people to hospital and closed all westbound lanes of the Gardiner Expressway in west-end Toronto on Thursday.
Police say the man’s 2015 Acura was driving west around 3:30 a.m. when it slammed into the back of a construction vehicle guarding workers painting lines on the highway.

The car then veered to the right and struck a van.
The driver of the van then lost control, hit a guardrail and rolled over.
Police say three people were in each car and their injuries ranged from minor to serious.
The driver of the Acura, Jastaad Sagoo, has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm, over 80 mgs operation causing bodily harm, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm.
