Police release surveillance footage from salon arson

CALGARY – Police are looking to the public for help as they investigate a fire at a northwest business which they believe was intentionally set.

The blaze in the 2800 block of Morley Trail N.W. broke out around 1:40 a.m. on Saturday, April 18th, causing significant damage to a hair salon.

The Calgary Police Service Arson Unit believes an accelerant was used to start the fire, and is searching for suspects.

On Friday, police released surveillance footage which shows three people in the area before the fire, who run from the scene immediately after the blaze begins.

All three appear to be males in their late teens.
