TORONTO – Investigators in Timmins have released security images of the man who evaded police earlier this week.
On Wednesday an employee at a Canadian Tire heard an intruder in the store, after the alarm was triggered just after 4 a.m.
When police did an initial search, they realized that a number of firearms were missing.
Investigators say there was no indication the suspected had left.
They evacuated the building and set up a broad perimeter in the area.
After completing the search at 8 p.m., they realized that the suspect was gone.

The suspect is described as a male, with dark hair and a thin build.
He was wearing jeans, a dark top, and was hiding his face with a black and white balaclava.
He was carrying a navy school bag.

There was speculation the man was Clyde Marshall, one of the suspects wanted in the murder of Sina Parsi, a Vaughan man.
Police say there is no evidence it was Marshall.
The suspect has not been identified and is still at large.
