On January 14, a 4 year old boy was approached by a man meeting the description of Buchanan inside a public venue in the west end. He asked the boy, who was sitting with his parents, to come home with him. The family intervened.

Buchanan drives a 2003 silver Impala and a 2011 blue Chrysler Town and Country. He is known to wear a bright blue cowboy hat and reading glasses.

Police say they have received lots of tips but have not been able to locate Buchanan.
