It was fixed last week but to play it safe, Mayor Michael Fougere suggested a gradual return to normal water usage.

Now city officials say the water treatment plant is running at full steam and able to meet demand for Regina and Moose Jaw, and Regina’s reservoirs are near full.

City pools are being filled and athletic fields are being reopened on a case-by-case basis, and the city plans to resume street cleaning, washing vehicles and watering grass.
