TORONTO – Global Saskatoon has received national recognition for its website. The globalnews.ca/saskatoon website won the digital media award for small and medium markets at the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) awards ceremony in Toronto Saturday evening.
Entries were judged on content, innovation, visual design, functionality and interactivity.
Lisa Ford, Global Saskatoon’s station manager and news director, said the award is a reflection of teamwork and dedication among all staff.
“It’s also a wonderful tribute to our viewers who have embraced us as the number one place to come for their on-air and online news and information,” said Ford.
“We share this award with them.”
