RCMP look for tips from photos, video of murder victim Jolene Cote

EDMONTON – Spruce Grove RCMP are releasing new pictures and a video of the last time Jolene Cote was seen before her murder.

Cote’s body was found at her home, which is near Spruce Grove, on the early morning of October 13, 2011.

Police have determined the 36-year-old played a soccer game at the Edmonton Soccer Centre on the city’s west side at 7:00 PM on October 12.

She left the facility just before 10:00 PM and went to a store on Stony Plain Road.  She bought a few items and then left the store at about 10:40 PM.

Police have released security camera video of her at the store before she left.

Police are hoping the photos and video will spark new tips in the case. They are hoping someone will have seen Cote between the time she left the store to the time she was found dead.

In an effort to generate more tips, the family has set up a private reward for information that leads to an arrest. Jolene’s sister, Rhonda Berg, issued a statement announcing the reward has been raised to $50,000. Her letter can be seen below.
