VANCOUVER – Three teenage boys have been arrested in connection with a series of arsons in Abbotsford.
Police say on June 1 and 2 a number of small fires were deliberately set in the area of Immel Street and Old Clayburn Road. Seven fires were set in total, in dumpsters, garbage cans and on a wooden bench. All were set in the early morning and early evening hours.
Police caution that despite the fact the fires were small, they all had the potential to cause greater damage due to the proximity to buildings and nearby structures.
The three teens from Abbotsford were arrested on June 3.
The Abbotsford Police Department reminds people to call in suspicious activity and to immediately report all fires.
