Calgary police search for Bridlewood school flasher

CALGARY – Police are asking for help from the public to identify a man who exposed himself to students at a Bridlewood school on Wednesday afternoon, who may be connected to a previous incident of indecent exposure in Copperfield.

Police were called to Monsignor J.J. O’Brien Elementary and Junior High School at Bridlewood Road S.W. at about 12:45 p.m. School staff had confronted the man, who then fled along Bridlewood Road towards another elementary school.

Nearby schools were notified but police couldn’t find the man.

Police say he fits the description of a man seen masturbating in green space behind the 200 block of Copperfield Manor S.E. on Friday, May 29.

Police describe the man as Asian, approximately 20 to 25 years old, 5’9” tall, with a slim build and a slightly unshaven face. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, but police say he’s also been seen wearing black track pants and a grey hooded sweatshirt.
