CALGARY – If you’re a fan of the hit series Fargo and you’re willing to drive to Calgary, Saturday is your chance to own a souvenir.

Fargo Alberta and Calgary’s Reclaimed Trading Company (RTC) are selling off several sets from the second year of filming of the FX/MGM show.

“Fifty thousand square feet of lighting, linens, wardrobe, architectural salvage, vintage furniture, mid-century furniture, antiques, collectibles, and 33 cool 60s and 70s collectors cars,” are all up for grabs, said Kelly Kask, owner of RTC.

“Some amazing lights, your grandma’s couch is here, your grandma’s typewriter is here, you know, the old Mork and Mindy record player—the black one with the little round speakers—they’re here. Lots of trinkets, lots of knick knacks, 37 typewriters, close to 800 lamps…where do I start?”

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

Set decorations, props, and wardrobe pieces are up for grabs, along with 20 collector cars including a 1950s Chevy and a 1960s paddy wagon.

The sale for set pieces and wardrobe runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday at the Fargo studio – 2344 Portland Street S.E. The vintage car auction registration starts at 12 p.m. Cash, Visa and MasterCard are accepted.

“It’s going to be a lot of fun, there’s going to be a lot of people working here,” said Kask. “Calgary doesn’t have a chance to see a lot of these sales; we don’t do a ton of movies. … To have two seasons worth of stuff—50,000 square feet barely holds it all.”
