One year since Duncan teen’s death

It is a difficult day for a family in Duncan as they mark one year since their 18-year-old daughter was killed.

Tyeshia Jones vanished January 22 of last year.

Her naked body was found nearly a week later in a wooded area near a local cemetery.

Police have never gone public with the cause of death, nor have arrests been made in the case, but investigators are still actively working.

Today, the late teen’s family and friends plan to lay flowers on her gravesite and share stories about the young woman, whose life was violently cut short.
