TORONTO — Hugely popular children’s entertainers The Wiggles are embarking on a cross-Canada tour this fall.
The Australian musical group will kick off the Rock & Roll Preschool tour on Sept. 15 in North Bay, Ont. and stop in 22 other Canadian cities.
The Wiggles — Anthony Field, Emma Watkins, Simon Pryce and Lachlan Gillespie — will be joined on stage by Dorothy the Dinosaur, Captain Feathersword, Wags the Dog and Henry the Octopus.
The show will include classics like “Fruit Salad” and “Do the Propeller!” as well as songs from the new album Rock & Roll Preschool.
The Wiggles have sold more than 23 million DVDs and 7 million albums in the last 24 years. The group performs more than 250 shows a year.
Field, the only original member, created The Wiggles after earning an Early Childhood Education degree.
